Members of the local Weybridge community in Surrey visited Austin Place, Anchor’s new residential retirement development, during a two day event this weekend (5 and 6 September).
Over 60 people visited the new show suite on Oatlands Drive, providing a glimpse of what the retirement development will look like when it is finished.
Austin Place will have 65 one and two bed luxury, independent living apartments with a wealth of on-site facilities including a hair and beauty salon, a treatment room, a coffee shop, lounge, a reading room, a tranquil rooftop retreat and beautiful landscaped gardens. The retirement properties, which are being offered exclusively for sale through local estate agents, Hamptons International, Weybridge, will open in winter 2015.
Speaking at the event, Rebecca Parker from Anchor said: “There has been a lot of interest in Austin Place and demand is high for retirement properties in Weybridge. Austin Place offers a supportive and secure environment for the over 55s without compromising their independence, which has proven to be a really popular concept in the local community.”
Austin Place will provide residents with everything they need to enjoy an independent lifestyle whilst having the peace of mind knowing there is support on their doorstep if they need it. From luxurious apartments through to first class facilities, every feature of Austin Place has been designed to meet the specific needs of those in their later years and residents will be surrounded by like-minded people in an open minded and inviting community. The development enjoys an attractive woodland backdrop whilst being within easy walking distance of nearby shops and amenities.
