Residents and staff at Moore Place care home in Esher were delighted to welcome the 1st Esher Girl Guides and one of the Beavers on Friday 6 May.
Home Manager Miranda Morgan said: "The evening was a wonderful way to see the intergenerational way of bringing young and old together. The residents and children spent time talking with each other and the Girl Guides and Beaver explained more about the badges they had achieved.
"It was also interesting to hear the residents talking about their experiences so many years ago when they were in the Girl Guides. All the residents agreed that the Girl Guide and Beaver uniform was far better than the ones they had worn! The evening ended with the residents extending an invitation to the children to visit Moore Place again."
