At Thameside, we provide residential care for 61 older people who have physical disabilities, moderate dementia, some mental health needs and moderate learning disabilities.  Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own beautiful grounds, Thameside is close to the local shops, pub and post office.  Most rooms have lovely views of the well-kept gardens.

We offer:

Accommodation

• 61 single, furnished en-suite rooms with WC and washbasin

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• 5 lounges with TVs and quiet areas to reading and relaxing

• Tea-making facilities are available where you and your visitors can make drinks

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort

• Lift to upper floor

Dining

• Meals are served in the dining room and supper can be enjoyed in the lounge or your room if you prefer

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Thameside has elegant gardens with pleasant areas to sit out in summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

Facilities

• Wheelchair access and car parking are available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry service

• Regular religious services and meetings are arranged

Health and personal care

• There are two local surgeries and a GP available on request

• Our hairdresser visits weekly

• Our Chiropodist visits once a month or on request

• Physiotherapist, District Nurse, Dentist and Optician visit by arrangement

• Close to excellent bus routes to Kingston and surrounding areas
