At Sycamore Court , we provide nursing care for 40 older people with increasing physical frailty.  Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet residential area and in its own beautiful grounds, Sycamore Court is on the outskirts of Brighton .  Many rooms have lovely views of Brighton and the garden.

We offer:

Accommodation

• 40 single en-suite rooms with shower facilities, 6 rooms are available for transitional care (up to 6 weeks)

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage furniture and personal items to be brought in to make it your own home

• Telephone point in all bedrooms for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for digital and satellite TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• All rooms centrally heated

• An open-plan lounge with TV and DVD players

• 3 smaller lounges on each floor with quiet areas for reading, etc.

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort

• Lift to all floors

Dining

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• All meals are served in the dining room or can be enjoyed in your own room

• Unlike other care homes there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Sycamore Court has a pleasant garden, patio and sitting areas, ideal for the summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

Facilities

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available

• Small pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

• A community bus is available once a week

Health and personal care

• GP is available on request

• Dentist and Optician visit by arrangement

• Our Chiropodist visits weekly

• Our Hairdresser visits weekly

• Local Barber visits once every six weeks

• Brighton Town Centre, hospital and railway station, 3 miles

• Theatre, swimming pool, 3 miles

• Bowling green , 2 miles
