At St Anne’s, we provide residential and nursing care for 50 older people who have increasing physical and mental frailties and varying health needs.  Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own grounds, St Anne’s is near to shops, pubs, post office and excellent bus and rail routes.

We offer:

Accommodation

• 50 single en-suite rooms with WC and washbasin

• Respite care is available

• We have a guest room available for relatives and friends

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage furniture and personal items to be brought in to make it your own home

• Telephone point in all bedrooms for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for digital and satellite TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• All rooms centrally heated

• We have 4 cosy lounges with TVs and video players and quiet areas for reading and relaxing

• Specially equipped bathrooms so you can relax in comfort

• Lift to all floors

Dining

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• All meals are served in the dining rooms or can be enjoyed in your own room

• Unlike other care homes there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• St Anne’s has a small well-maintained garden, patio and sitting areas, ideal for the summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available

• Pets are welcome at manager’s discretion

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

• We can provide transport on request

• Our GP visits on request

• District Nurses, Dentist, Physiotherapist and Optician visit by arrangement

• Our Chiropodist visits on request

• Holistic Therapies available on request

• Our Hairdresser visits once every fortnight
