At Rose Court , we provide residential care for 64 older people with varying physical abilities and mental frailty associated with dementia.  Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in residential area and in its own grounds, Rose Court is near to shops, a library, restaurants and excellent bus and rail routes.  Most rooms have views of the well-kept gardens.

We offer:

Accommodation

• 55 single en-suite rooms with shower facilities

• 12 single en-suite rooms with shower facilities available for specialist, dementia respite care

• Guest rooms are available where visitors can stay overnight

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• Telephone point in all bedrooms

• Television point and connections for digital and satellite TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• We have 4 cosy lounges each with TVs, video and DVD facilities

• There is a quiet lounge for reading and relaxing

• Specially equipped bathrooms so you can relax in comfort

• Lifts to all floors

Dining

• All meals are served in the dining rooms or can be enjoyed in your own room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes there is no need to order food in advance main meals are  

   served at 17.30

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be delivered daily to your room

• Rose Court has a well-maintained garden, vegetable patch, water feature, patio and sitting areas

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Regular church services and meetings are held

Health and personal care

• GP available on request

• District Nurse, Optician, Dentist and Physiotherapist visit by arrangement

• Chiropodist visits every 3 months or on request

• Our Hairdresser visits once a week

• Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, ½ mile

• Lewisham and Guy’s and St Thomas ’ Hospitals, all within 8 miles

• Nearest underground stations - Surrey Quays, ½ mile

• Canadian Water Railway Station, ¾ mile
