At Orchard Court , we provide residential care for 63 older people who have physical frailty or mental health needs.  We also have 6 respite care rooms and our services are available to those aged 65 and over.  Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own beautiful grounds, Orchard Court is conveniently located close to the local shops, pubs and post office.  Most rooms have lovely views of the well-kept gardens.

We offer:

Accommodation

• 63 single rooms, some with en-suite facilities split into 7 wings.  Each wing has kitchen facilities

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• 7 smaller lounges on each wing and one larger lounge.  All with TVs and quiet areas for reading and relaxing

• Tea-making facilities are available on each wing and in the day room

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort

• Lift to upper floor

Dining

• Meals are served in the dining room and supper is served in the lounge if requested or in your room if you prefer

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Orchard Court has well-maintained gardens with pleasant areas to sit out in summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access and car parking are available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry service

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

• We have a minibus for day trips etc

• We have a pay telephone available for residents use

Health and personal care

• There is a local surgery and a GP visits on request

• Our hairdresser visit weekly

• Our Chiropodist visits once every 6 weeks or on request

• Physiotherapist, District Nurse, Dentist and Optician visit by arrangement

• Holistic therapy – details of local providers are available

Local area

• Local town centre of East Grinstead, 3 miles away and a short distance from centres of Lingfield and Crawley

• Close to excellent bus and train routes to Lingfield

• Lingfield Race course, ½ mile
