At Monarch Court , we provide nursing care for 66 older people who have increasing physical and mental frailties including dementia. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location, opposite a park, Monarch Court is close to local amenities and excellent bus routes. Most rooms have lovely views over the park.

We offer:

Accommodation

• 66 single en-suite rooms with WC and washbasins

• Rooms decorated to a high standard

• We encourage furniture and personal items to be brought in to make it feel like your own home

• Telephone point all bedrooms for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for digital and satellite TV

• ‘Qualia’ room for relaxation therapy

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• We have four cosy lounges with TVs and quiet areas for reading and relaxing

• Specially equipped bathrooms so you can relax in comfort

Dining

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Meals are served in the dining rooms, lounges or can be enjoyed in your own room

• Unlike other care homes there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Monarch Court has an enclosed well-maintained garden and patio area

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available on Cadogan Terrace

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Lifts to all floors

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

• We can provide transport on request.

• Our GP visits daily and on request

• District nurses, dentist, physiotherapist, optician and occupational therapist visit

by arrangement

• Our chiropodist visits every month or on request

• Holistic therapies available on request

• Our hairdresser visits once a week.
