At Meadowside, we provide residential care for 51 older people who have physical disabilities or moderate dementia.  Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own beautiful grounds, Meadowside is close to the local shops, pubs and post office.  Most rooms have lovely views of the gardens parkland.

We offer:

• 51 single rooms with washbasin

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• 8 lounges with TVs and music centres, some with quiet areas for reading and relaxing

• Tea-making facilities are available where you and your visitor can make drinks

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort

• Lift to upper floor

Dining

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Meadowside has pleasant gardens with mature trees and shaded areas to sit out in summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access and car parking are available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have personal laundry service

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

• We have 3 local surgeries and a GP available on request

• Our hairdresser visit weekly

• Our Chiropodist visits on request

• Physiotherapist, Dentist and Optician visit by arrangement
