At Keswick we provide residential care for 51 older people who have physical disabilities, moderate dementia and some mental health needs.  Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own grounds, Keswick is close to the village shops in Bookham and the town centres of Leatherhead and Dorking.  Most rooms have views of the well-kept gardens.

Accommodation

• We offer 49 residential rooms and 2 respite care rooms

• Keswick has single rooms with washbasin and each unit has a lounge, dining room and kitchen for residents use

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• Fully-furnished rooms decorated to a high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• 7 comfortable lounges with TVs and quiet areas for reading and relaxing

• Tea-making facilities are available to make drinks for you and your visitors

• Additional bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort

• Lift to upper floor

Dining

• All meals are served in the dining room or can be enjoyed in your room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Keswick has very pleasant gardens with a patio area to sit out in summer and shade under our willow tree

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access and car parking are available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• Our in-house shop is run by residents and staff selling confectionery, greetings cards and toiletries

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Regular religious services and meetings are arranged

• Our hairdresser visits every week

• Our Chiropodist visits fortnightly or on request

• Physiotherapist visits by arrangement

• Dentist & Optician – visiting and local services are available
