At Bethune Court , we provide residential care for 45 older people with increasing physical and mental frailties.  Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a residential area and in its own grounds, Bethune Court is close to local amenities and excellent bus routes to Hastings and Bexhill-on-Sea.  Most of our rooms have views over the English Channel .

We offer:

Accommodation

• 45 single en-suite rooms

• Rooms decorated to a high standard

• We encourage furniture and personal items to be brought in to make it your own home

• Telephone points in all bedrooms for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for digital and satellite TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• All rooms centrally heated

• There are 3 main lounges with sea views and quiet areas for relaxing and reading, etc.

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort

• Lifts to all floors

Dining

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• All three meals are served in the dining room or in the privacy of your room

• Unlike other care homes there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Bethune Court has a pleasant garden, patio and sitting area, ideal for sitting out in summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

Facilities

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Regular religious services and meetings are arranged

Health and personal care

• Local GPs visit when required

• District Nurses, Dentist and Optician visit by arrangement

• Our Chiropodist visits once every 4-6 weeks or on request

• Our Hairdresser visit twice weekly

• Holistic therapies available on request

• St Leonards Seafront, ¼ mile

• Hastings and Bexhill Town , 3 miles

• St Leonard ’s Railway Station, ¼ miles

• Theatre, 1 ½ miles

• Hastings Hospital , 4 miles
