At Barnfield, we provide residential care for 63 older people with increasing physical and mental frailties and varying mental health needs.  Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own grounds, Barnfield is close to local amenities and excellent bus and train routes to Crawley, Brighton and London .  Most rooms have views of the gardens.

Accommodation

• 63 single bedrooms of which 12 have en-suite facilities

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• Telephone point in all bedrooms for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for digital and satellite TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• We have 7 open-plan lounges with TV and video/DVD players and quiet areas for reading and relaxing

• Specially equipped bathrooms so you can relax in comfort or enjoy a refreshing shower

• Lift to all floors

Dining

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Supper is served in the dining rooms or can be enjoyed in your own room

• Unlike other care homes there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Barnfield has a pleasant garden with patio and sitting area, ideal for summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access and car parking are available

• Day Centre on site

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Regular religious services and meetings are held

Health and personal care

• Our GP is available on request

• District Nurse, Optician, Dentist, Physiotherapist and Chiropodist visit by arrangement

• Aromatherapist visits can be arranged

• Local Holistic Therapists are available on request

• Our Hairdresser visits every week
