At Augusta Court , we provide residential care for 46 older people who have physical frailty and short-term memory loss. We also provide a safe, secure and enabling environment for people with dementia. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own beautiful grounds, Augusta Court is close to the local shop and post office.  Most rooms have lovely views of the well-kept gardens and some rooms have doors leading to an individual patio.

Accommodation

• 44 single en-suite rooms and 1 double room, all with WC, washbasin and shower

• Kitchenette in all rooms to maximise independence

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• 4 cosy lounges with TVs and some with quiet areas for reading and with specialist music equipment

• Tea-making facilities are available in each room and in lounges to make drinks for you and your visitors

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort

• Lift to upper floor

Dining

• Meals are served in the dining room but can be enjoyed in your room if you prefer

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be delivered daily to your room

• Augusta Court has elegant gardens with a conservatory and a pleasant area to sit out

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access and car parking are available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry service

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

• There is a weekly surgery at August Court and a GP available on request

• Our Hairdresser visits every week

• Our Chiropodist visits weekly or on request

• Physiotherapist, Dentist and Optician visits by arrangement
