At Thomas Henshaw Court , we provide residential care for 43 residents with varying abilities and for those who want to maintain their independence but now find that they need some practical and personal care. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in the seaside town of Southport , Thomas Henshaw Court is close to local amenities including shops, pubs, post office and churches. Most rooms have lovely views of the well-kept gardens.

Accommodation

• Single en-suite rooms with WC, shower facilities and kitchenette

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call systems in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms are decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• Our specially designed home helps residents with visual impairment to familiarise themselves with the environment. We have used textured flooring, tactile signs and colour-contrasted décor etc.

• We have 3 lounges, one with a flat-screen television and surround sound system

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort

• Talking lift to direct you to all floors

Dining

• We offer a wide range of dining. You can choose from the varied and seasonal menus each day

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• We can arrange for your daily delivery of newspapers

• Thomas Henshaw Court has a pleasant garden, patio and seated area, ideal for the summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week by your experienced activity coordinator
