At Millfield, we provide professional residential care for 37 older people with varying degrees of physical and mental frailty. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own beautiful grounds, Millfield is close to local amenities and excellent bus routes to Oldham and Uppermill. Most rooms have lovely views of the well-kept gardens.

Accommodation

• 37 single en-suite rooms

• Telephone point in all rooms

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call systems in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms are decorated to high standard

• All rooms are centrally heated

• We encourage furniture and personal items to be brought in to make it your own home

• 2 cosy lounges with TV and quiet areas for reading

• There is a conservatory overlooking the garden

• There are 2 communal kitchenette areas, ideal for making snacks and refreshments when you want

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in a comfort or enjoy a refreshing shower

• Lifts to all floors

Dining

• Supper can be served in the dining room or in the privacy of your room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Millfield has a pleasant tree-lined garden and patio ideal for sitting out in summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available

• Pets are allowed by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Regular religious services and meetings are arranged

• There is a GP available on request

• Our hairdresser visits once a week

• District Nurse, Dentist, Optician Physiotherapist and Chiropodist visit by arrangement
