At Heyberry House, we provide professional residential care for 41 older people with increasing physical and mental frailty. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a prime location between two parks, Heyberry House is close to the local amenities and excellent bus and rail routes to nearby towns. Most rooms overlook the parks and gardens

We offer:

Accommodation

• 40 single en-suite rooms

• 1 single Première room with en suite shower

• Telephone point in all rooms

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24 hour help

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage furniture and personal items to be brought in to make it your own home

• Residents can smoke in their own rooms within accordance to the smoking policy

• Cosy lounge with TV and music centre

• Our conservatory overlooks the garden

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort or enjoy a refreshing shower

• Lift to all floors

Dining

• Breakfast and supper can be served in the dining room or taken to you in the privacy of your own room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements are catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Heyberry House has a well maintained garden, greenhouse, and patio and sitting areas

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Regular religious services and meetings are arranged

• A local GP available on request

• Our Hairdresser visits weekly

• Our Chiropodist visits once every 6 weeks or on request

• District Nurse, Dentist & Optician visit by arrangement

• Holistic therapies are available on request
