At Eric Morecambe, we provide professional residential care for 34 older people with increasing physical and mental frailty and varying disabilities. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location in its own beautiful grounds, Eric Morecambe House is close to the local amenities and excellent bus and train routes. Most rooms have lovely views of the well-kept gardens.

We offer:

Accommodation

• 30 single en-suite rooms, most with a kitchenette

• 2 double en-suite rooms, with separate kitchen and lounge

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call systems in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms are decorated to high standard

• All rooms are centrally heated

• Residents can smoke in there own rooms

• We encourage furniture and personal items to be brought in to make it your own home

• Large main cosy lounge and quiet lounge for reading and relaxing, etc

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in a comfort

• Lifts to all floors

Dining

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Eric Morecambe House has a pleasant garden, patio and sitting area ideal for sitting out in summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available

• Pets are allowed by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

Health and personal care

• Residents can request visits from their own GP

• District Nurse, Dentist Optician and Physiotherapist visit by arrangement

• Our Hairdresser/Barber visits weekly

• Chiropody visits can be arranged
