At Beyer Lodge, we provide professional nursing care for 16 older people with complex mental health needs. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location in its own grounds, Beyer Lodge is close to local amenities and excellent bus routes. Most rooms have views of the well-kept gardens.

We offer:

Accommodation

• 16 single en-suite rooms

• Telephone point in all rooms

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call systems in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms are decorated to high standard

• All rooms are centrally heated

• We encourage furniture and personal items to be brought in to make it your own home

• Cosy lounge with TV and video/DVD player and quiet areas for reading

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in a comfort or enjoy a refreshing shower

Dining

• Supper is served in the lounge or in the privacy of your own room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Beyer Lodge has a pleasant enclosed garden, patio and sitting areas

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

Health and personal care

• There is a GP available at a weekly surgery or on request

• District Nurse, Optician, Dentist and Physiotherapist visit by arrangement

• Our Hairdresser visits by appointment

• Our Chiropodist visits once every 6 weeks or on request

• Holistic therapies available on request

Local area

• Local shops and amenities are within walking distance

• Manchester City Centre and Manchester Royal Infirmary, 3 miles

• Bowling green , ½ mile

• Golf course, theatre, swimming pool all within 4 miles

• Manchester Piccadilly Station is 1-2 miles and Manchester Victoria Railway Station is 2-3 miles away
