At Beechfield Lodge, we provide residential care for 59 older people who have varying physical abilities and mental frailty. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set conveniently off the main road and in its own beautiful gardens, Beechfield Lodge is close to the local amenities such as shops, library, pubs and post office. Most rooms have lovely views of the well-kept gardens.

We offer:

Accommodation

• 43 single and 2 double full en-suite rooms with kitchenette

• 12 single en-suite rooms with WC and washbasin

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call systems in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms are decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• A main lounge with TV, plus several smaller lounges around the home. There are quiet areas for reading and relaxing

• Tea-making facilities are available to make drinks for you and your visitors

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in a comfort

• Lifts to all floors

Dining

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be delivered daily to your room

• We have beautiful gardens with seated areas, ideal for summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

Facilities

• Wheelchair access and car parking available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

• There is a GP available on request

• Dentist and Optician- visiting and local services are available

• Our Hairdresser visits twice a week

• Our Chiropodist visits every 6-8 weeks or on request

• The Physiotherapist visits by arrangement

• Holistic therapy – details of local providers are available
