At Tolson Grange, we provide residential care for 38 older people with varying levels f dementia. Staff are on had 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location in its own beautiful grounds, Tolson Grange is close to the local amenities and excellent bus routes into nearby towns. Many of the rooms have lovely views of the well-kept gardens.

We offer:

Accommodation

• 24 single en-suite rooms with WC and washbasin

•14 larger en-suite rooms with dressing area, lounge and bathroom. 3 of these rooms are on the ground floor and have private patios

• Television point and connections for digital and satellite TV

• Telephone point in all bedrooms for your own direct line

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms decorated to high standard, whilst considering dementia needs

• We encourage furniture and personal items to be brought in to make it your own home

• 3 lounge areas with TV and video players, with quiet areas for reading and relaxing

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort

• Lifts to all floors

Dining

• Breakfast and supper is served in the lounge or can be enjoyed in your own room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Tolson Grange has a pleasant garden and patio area, ideal for sitting out in summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Car parking is available

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Religious services and meetings are held regularly

• GPs available on request

• Our Chiropodist once every 4-6 weeks or on request

• District Nurses, Dentist and Optician visit by arrangement
