Thornton Hill is a converted manor house built in the 1800s, with a modern extension. The home is owned and maintained by Anchor Trust, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of support, care and housing for older people. Thornton Hill is set in a village location in it’s own grounds with fantastic views over the Yorkshire Dales. Most rooms have views of well-kept gardens.

At Thornton Hill, we provide residential care for 52 older people (male and female) with increasing physical and mental frailty and varying disabilities. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.
