We’re here to help and look forward to giving you a warm welcome.

At Tealbeck House we provide residential care for 50 older people with varying physical abilities and mental frailty. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own beautiful grounds, Tealbeck House is close to the local shops, library, pubs and post office. Most rooms have lovely views of the well-kept gardens.

We offer:

Accommodation

• Single en-suite rooms with WC and washbasin

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for digital and satellite TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• Two cosy lounges

• Quiet area for reading and relaxing

• Tea-making facilities are available to make drinks for you and your visitors

• Lift to upper floor

Dining

• There is one main dining room. Supper is served either in the lounges or in your room if you prefer

• Breakfast is served in the dining room or you can enjoy a continental breakfast brought to your room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be delivered daily to your room

• We have very pleasant gardens with a lovely area to sit out

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

Facilities

• Wheelchair access and car parking are available

• Pets are allowed by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

Health and personal care

• There is a GP available on request and 3 local surgeries

• Our Hairdresser visits twice a week

• Our Chiropodist visits every 6-8 weeks or on request

•The Physiotherapist visits by arrangement

• Dentist & Optician – visiting and local services available

• Holistic therapy – details of local providers available

Local area

• Short walk to the local town centre of Otley

• Excellent bus routes to Leeds, Skipton, Harrogate and Ilkley

•Short car ride from the historic town of Harrogate

• Local golf course, swimming pool and bowling green

• The nearest Hospital is Wharfedale General, 1 mile away

• Menston Railway Station is 1 mile away, Guiseley 2 miles away
