At Sandholme Fold, we provide residential care for 33 older people with physical disabilities and care for 11 people who have mental health care needs. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own grounds, Sandholme Fold is close to local amenities and excellent bus routes to Bradford and Halifax. Many of our rooms have lovely views of the well-kept gardens.

Accommodation

• Single en-suite rooms

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• There are 2 main lounges with TV, videos and stereos with quiet areas for reading and relaxing

• We have a sun lounge

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort or enjoy a refreshing shower

• Lift to all floors

Dining

• Breakfast and supper are served in the dining room or can be enjoyed in your own room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Sandholme Fold has an elegant garden and patio area, ideal for sitting out in the summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone available

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

Health and personal care

• GP is available on request

• District Nurses, Dentist, Optician and Physiotherapist visit by arrangement

• Our Chiropodist visits once every 6-8 weeks or on request

• Holistic therapy – details of local providers are available

• Our Hairdresser visits twice a week
