At Palmersdene, we provide residential care for 40 older people (male and female) with physical and mental health needs. We also provide a special Dementia Unit. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and it’s own beautiful grounds, Palmersdene is close to the local shops, pubs and post office. Most rooms have lovely views of the well kept gardens.

• Single en-suite rooms with WC and washbasin.

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for digital and satellite TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to brought in to enhance your room

• Two cosy lounges with TVs and quiet areas for reading and relaxing

• Tea-making facilities are available to make drinks for you and your visitors

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort, 2 with spa facility

• Lift to upper floor  

Dining

• Supper is served either in the lounges or in your room if you prefer

• Breakfast is served in the dining room or you can enjoy a continental breakfast brought to your room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be delivered to your room

• We have lovely gardens with pleasant areas to sit out in summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Pets are welcome by arrangement
