At Northbourne we provide residential care for 33 older people who have physical disabilities, moderate dementia and some mental health needs, and for those who now find that they need some practical and personal care. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own beautiful grounds, Northbourne is close to local shops, pubs and post office. All rooms have pleasant view of the gardens.

• Single en-suite rooms with WC and washbasin

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Emergency call systems in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms are decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• Cosy lounge with TV and one quiet lounge for reading and relaxing

• Tea and coffee making facilities are available for you and your visitors

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort

• Lifts to upper floor

Dining

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

• Newspapers can be delivered daily to your room

• We have lovely gardens with a patio area to sit out

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility

• Guestroom with en-suite is available for family and friends at a minimal charge
