At Millbeck we provide residential care for 30 frail older people with varying abilities. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in its own well-maintained grounds Millbeck is close to the local shops, pubs, library and post office. All rooms have lovely views of the well-kept gardens.

• Single en-suite rooms with WC and washbasin

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for digital and satellite TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to brought in to enhance your room

• 2 cosy lounges with TV and one with a bar. Quiet area for reading and relaxing

• Fully equipped hairdressing salon

• Tea-making facilities are available to make drinks for you and your visitors

• Specially equipped bathrooms so you can relax in comfort

• Lift to upper floor

Dining

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Breakfast is served in the dining room or you can have this brought to your room

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be delivered daily to your room

• Millbeck has very attractive gardens with a pleasant area to sit out

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Pets are allowed by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility

• A pay telephone is available

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

• Fortnightly surgery at Millbeck by local surgery. A GP is available on request

• Hairdresser visits weekly

• Chiropodist visits every 6-8 weeks or on request

• Physiotherapist visits by arrangement
