At Larchfield we provide residential care for 40 older people who have physical disabilities, some mental health needs and moderate learning disabilities. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own beautiful grounds, Larchfield is close to the local shops, pubs and post office.

We offer:

Accommodation

• Single en-suite rooms with WC and washbasin

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24 hour help

• A separate lounge for those who wish to smoke is available

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• One main lounge with TV and music system. There is also a quiet room for reading and relaxation

• Additional bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort

• Tea-making facilities are available where you and your visitors can make drinks

• Lift to upper floor

Dining

• Breakfast and supper are served in the dining rooms or you can enjoy a continental breakfast or supper brought to your room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements are catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Larchfield has a pleasant garden with conservatory and patio

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Car parking is available

• Pets are allowed by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Religious services and meetings can be arranged

Health and personal care

• There is a local GP surgery near Larchfiled and a GP available on request

• Our Hairdresser and regularly or on request

• Our Chiropodist visits every 4-6 weeks or on request

• The District Nurse and Physiotherapist visit by arrangement

• Dentist and Optician-visiting services are available

• Holistic therapy-details of local providers available

• The town centre of Leeds is 1 mile away

• The Armouries and Middleton Park are close by

• Nearest hospital is St James, Leeds , 1 mile away

• Close to excellent bus routes to Leeds City Centre and surrounding areas
