At Halcyon Court , we provide nursing care for 45 older people with varying abilities both physically and mentally, plus intermediate care for 15 older people, who require short stay rehabilitation services. Nursing and care staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a residential area and in its own attractive grounds, Halcyon Court is close to the local Headingley shops, pubs and Leeds City Centre.

We offer:

Accommodation

• Single, and shared rooms, most with en-suite including WC and washbasin

• Additional bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24 hour help

• A separate lounge for those who wish to smoke is available

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• 3 cosy lounges-each with TV, video and music systems

• Pleasant garden and lovely patio area to sit out in summer

• Tea-making facilities are available where you and your visitors can make drinks

• Lift to upper floor

Dining

• All meals are served in the dining room or you can enjoy them in your own room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements are catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Daily newspapers can be delivered daily to your room

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

Facilities

• Wheelchair access and car parking are available

• Pets are allowed by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Access to transport via a private mini bus, equipped for wheelchairs

Health and personal care

• There is a GP is available on request and several local surgeries

• Our Hairdresser and visits 1-2 days a week

• Our Chiropodist visits every 4-6 weeks

• Physiotherapy is available

• Visiting and local dental services available

• Complimentary therapies-details of local providers available

• The town centre of Leeds is 1 mile away

• Close to excellent bus routes to Leeds and a short car ride away from the historic town of Harrogate
