At Gills Top, we provide residential care for 27 older people with varying physical abilities and mental frailty. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location in its own beautiful grounds, Gills Top is close to the local amenities and bus routes to the Yorkshire Dales National Park . Most rooms have lovely views of the well-kept gardens

Accommodation

• 27 single en-suite rooms with tea-making facilities

• Telephone point in all rooms

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24 hour help

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• There are 2 cosy lounges, one with TV, video and DVD and one quiet lounge for relaxing and reading

• Specially equipped bathrooms with spa facilities so you can relax in comfort bath or enjoy a refreshing shower

• Guest room available for relatives and friends

• Lift to upper floor

Dining

• Supper is served in the lounge or can be enjoyed in your own room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements are catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Gills Top has a pleasant lawned garden, patio and sitting area, ideal for the summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Regular interdenominational services and meetings

• Local volunteers help with transport

• Our Hairdresser and visits fortnightly or on request

• Our Chiropodist visits every 6 weeks or on request

• The Physiotherapist visits by arrangement

• District Nurse, Dentist, Optician and Chiropodist visit by arrangement

• Holistic therapies are available on request
