We’re here to help and look forward to giving you a warm welcome.

At Eagle House we provide residential and nursing care for 41 people aged 55 years and above who have enduring, functional mental health needs. We have 16 residential places and 25 nursing places. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and with its own private gardens, Eagle House is close to the local shops, pubs, restaurants and café bars.

Nursing/Residential care Accommodation

Residential Care

• The residential facilities offer accommodation in the form of 4 bungalows each catering for 4 residents

• Each bungalow has a communal kitchen with tea making facilities for you and your visitors

• Bungalows have a lounge with TV and patio door leading to the pleasant gardens

Nursing Home

• Nursing home accommodation is a single room with en-suite facilities

• 2 cosy lounges with TV’s, one no-smoking. There is a patio area off the lounge and private gardens to the rear

• There is a relaxation room for quiet time and reading

• Telephone point in some bedrooms for your own direct line

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms decorated to a high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort

• Lift to upper floor

Dining

• We offer a wide range of dining at Eagle House; choose nutritious meals from the varied and seasonal menus each day

• Breakfast and supper are served in the dining room or you can enjoy them in your room if you prefer

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered daily to your room

• Eagle House has a pleasant garden with a lovely seating area for summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Car parking is available

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• Religious services and meetings can be arranged

Health and personal care

• There is weekly surgery at Eagle House and a GP available on request

• Our hairdresser visits regularly

• Our Chiropodist visits every 4-6 weeks or on request

• The District Nurse and Physiotherapist visit by arrangement

• The Psychiatrist visits every 2 weeks

• Dentist and Optician-visiting and local services available

• Holistic therapy-details of local providers are available

• Town of Sheffield is 1 mile away

• Places on interest: botanical gardens1/2 mile, Sheffield Cathedral 1 mile, pubs, restaurants, café bars and shops within easy walking distance around Eccleshall Road
