We’re here to help and look forward to giving you a warm welcome.

At Clifton Meadows, we provide residential care for 65 older people in two adjacent properties-one home for 25 people who have dementia and other mental health needs; and a home for 40 people who are physically frail. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in pleasant gardens, Clifton Meadows is close to the local shops, pubs, and post office. All rooms have interesting views.

We offer:

Accommodation

• Single en-suite rooms with WC and washbasin, some with showers

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• 2 cosy lounges with TVs and some quiet areas for reading and relaxing.  There are also patio areas off the lounges for sitting out in summer

• Fully-fitted kitchenettes on each wing where you and your visitors can make drinks

• Additional bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in a comfortable bath or take a shower if you wish

• Lifts to upper floor

Dining

• Breakfast and supper is served in the dining rooms or you can enjoy a continental breakfast brought to your room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Clifton Meadows has a pleasant garden with a lovely seating area to sit out in summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

Facilities

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available

• Pets are allowed by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone available

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

Health and personal care

• There is a GP available on request and there are several surgeries in the area

• Our Hairdresser visits 2 days a week

• Our Chiropodist visits once every 12 weeks or on request

• The Physiotherapist visit by arrangement

• The District Nurse visits by arrangement

• Dentist- visiting and local dental services are available

• Holistic therapy – details of local providers are available

Local area

• Town centre of Rotherham is 1 mile away

• Bowling green ¼ mile, Clifton Park ¼ mile,

• Theatre ¾ mile, theatre ¼ mile, swimming pool/hydrotherapy pool ½ mile

• Hospital: Rother ham, 1 mile

• Railway Station: 1 mile

• Close to excellent bus routes to: Rotherham town centre, Meadowhall shopping and leisure facility, and the city of Sheffield
