At Borrage House, we provide residential care for 40 older people with increasing physical and mental frailty. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own grounds, Borrage House is close to the local amenities and excellent bus routes to nearby towns. All rooms have views of the well-kept gardens.

We offer:

Accommodation

• 40 single en-suite rooms with washbasin and toilet facilities

• Telephone point in all bedrooms for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for digital and satellite TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to brought in to enhance your room

• We have a cosy lounge with TV, video and DVD facilities and two quiet lounges for reading and relaxing

• We have a conservatory overlooking the garden

• Bathrooms with Jacuzzi facilities so you can relax in comfort or enjoy a refreshing shower

• Lift to first floor

Dining

• All meals are served in the dining room or can be enjoyed in your room if you prefer

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Borrage House has a pleasant garden area with pergola, patio and sitting areas ideal for the summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Regular religious services and meetings are held
