Bargate is a purpose built home, circa 1989. It is owned and maintained by Anchor Trust, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of support, care and housing for older people. Set in a quiet location and in its own beautiful grounds, Bargate is close to the local shops, pubs and post office. Most of the rooms have lovely views of the well-kept gardens and we are close to excellent bus routes and a short car ride from the seaside towns of Redcar and Saltburn.

At Bargate, we provide residential care for 15 older people (male and female) with higher dependence needs and care for 13 people who have physical disabilities and moderate dementia. At times we are also able to provide interim/respite care. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.
