At Ashcroft, we provide nursing and residential care for 72 older people with increasing physical and mental frailty and varying disabilities. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location in its own grounds, Ashcroft is close to local amenities and excellent bus routes to Bradford and Leeds . Most rooms have views of the gardens.

We offer:

Accommodation

• 49 Single en-suite rooms, with 8 premier en-suite rooms

• We have 1 room available for rotational respite care

• Guest room available where visitors can stay overnight

• Telephone point in most rooms

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24 hour help

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• All rooms centrally heated

• We encourage furniture and personal items to be brought in to make it your own room

• There are 1 lounges and a lounge conservatory with quiet areas for relaxing and reading

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort

• Lifts to all floors

Dining

• All three meals are served in the dining room or can be enjoyed in your own room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements are catered for

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Ashcroft has a pleasant garden, patio and sitting area, ideal for the summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• We have a Hospitality Manager who helps you to settle in

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• Regular religious services and meetings are arranged

Health and personal care

• Our GP visits on request

• Our Hairdresser visits twice a week

• Our Chiropodist visits every 4 weeks or on request

• District Nurse, Dentist, Optician and Physiotherapist visits by arrangement

• Contacts are available for further complimentary therapies e.g. manicures or aromatherapy massage
