At Victoria Court, we provide residential care for 40 older people with varying physical and mental frailties, and for those who want to maintain their independence, but now find that they need extra help.  Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in its own award-winning gardens, Victoria Court is close to local amenities and overlooks Victoria Park, the town and local countryside.

We offer:

Accommodation

• 40 single en-suite rooms, with kitchenette

• Telephone points in all bedrooms for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for digital and satellite TV

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• Cosy main lounge with TV and quiet sitting areas for reading, etc.

• Activities room caters for most activities such as arts and crafts, exercise, games etc.

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort or enjoy a refreshing shower

• Lifts to all floors

Dining

• Supper is served in the lounge or in the privacy of your room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Unlike other care homes there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Victoria Court has an award-winning garden, with a pleasant area to sit our in the summer months

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

Health and personal care

• The GP is available on request

• Our District Nurse, Dentist, Optician, Physiotherapist and Hairdresser visit by arrangement

• Our Chiropodist visits once every 6-8 weeks or on request

• Holistic therapies are available on request
