At Maple Dene, we provide residential care for 40 older people with increasing physical frailty and varying health needs. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own grounds, Maple Dene is close to excellent bus routes. Most rooms have lovely views of the gardens.

We offer:

Accommodation

• Single and double en-suite rooms

• Telephone point in each room for your own direct line

• Television point and connections for satellite and digital TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• Residents can smoke in their own rooms

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• Cosy lounge with conservatory situated on the ground floor, overlooking the garden

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort or enjoy a refreshing shower

• Lifts to upper floor

Dining

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Supper is served either in the lounge or in the privacy of your room

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Maple Dene has a pleasant garden, patio, orchard, sitting area and an enclosed pond

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

Health and personal care

• GP is available monthly or on request

• Our Hairdresser visits 2 days a week

• Our Chiropodist visits once every 6 weeks or on request

• District Nurse, Optician, Physiotherapist and aroma therapist visits by arrangement
