At Landemere, we provide residential care for 40 older people with varying physical and mental needs and for those who want to maintain their independence, but now find that they need some extra help.  Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own grounds, Landemere is close to amenities and excellent bus routes into Derby .  Most rooms have lovely views overlooking our gardens.

We offer:

Accommodation

• 40 single en-suite rooms with kitchenettes

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• Telephone points in all bedrooms for your own personal use

• Television point and connections for digital and satellite TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• 2 conservatories, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the views of the garden

• Cosy lounge with TV and quiet sitting areas for reading, etc.

• Activities room caters for arts and crafts, exercise, games, etc.

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort or enjoy a refreshing shower

• Lift to all floors

Dining

• 4 dining rooms each with an integrated kitchenette, ideal for entertaining family and friends

• Supper is served in the lounge or in the privacy of your room

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

Leisure activities

•Landemere has a pleasant garden area, patio and sitting areas which are ideal to sit out in the summer months

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Car parking is available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• Religious services and meetings are arranged

• A pay phone is available

Health and personal care

• There is a GP available on request

• District Nurse, Optician, Dentist and Physiotherapist visit by arrangement

• Audiologist visits monthly to maintain hearing aids

• Local Holistic Therapists are available on request

• Our Chiropodist visits once every 12 weeks or on request

• Our Hairdresser visits twice a week
