At Annesley lodge, we provide residential care for 51 older people with varying physical disabilities who wish to maintain their independence but now find that they need some extra help. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location in its own grounds, Annesley Lodge is close to local amenities and is a short car ride from Newstead Abbey and Sherwood Forest .

We offer:

Accommodation

• 47 single and 2 double rooms (ideal for couples) all en-suite

• Rooms decorated to high standard

• We encourage personal items to be brought in to enhance your room

• Telephone point available in your room on request

• Television point and connections for digital and satellite TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• Large open-plan lounge

• The lounge has some quiet areas for reading, as well as TV and video facilities

• There is a conservatory (off the dining room) overlooking the garden

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort

• Lifts to all floors

Dining

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Supper is served in the lounge or in the privacy of your room

• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Annesley Lodge has a pleasant garden, patio and sitting area

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Our Local GP is available on request

• Our District Nurse, Dentist, Optician and Physiotherapist visit by arrangement

• Our Hairdresser visits 3 days a week

• Our Chiropodist visits once every 4 weeks or on request

• Local Holistic therapists are available on request
