At Woodland Manor, we provide residential care for 36 older people with varying abilities and for those who want to maintain their independence but now find that they need some practical and personal care.  Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Set in a quiet location and in its own grounds, Woodland Manor is close to local amenities and excellent bus routes into town.  Many of the rooms have lovely views of the well-kept gardens and surrounding countryside.

Accommodation

• 32 single rooms, 29 with en-suite, including 2 rooms with kitchenette facilities

• 2 double en-suite rooms

• Rooms decorated to a high standard

• We encourage furniture and personal items to be brought in to make it your own home

• Telephone points in most bedrooms or can be installed on request

• Television point and connections for digital and satellite TV

• Call bells in each room providing 24-hour help

• There are 2 lounges with TVs and quiet areas for relaxing and reading, etc.

• We have a conservatory which overlooks our garden

• Bathrooms specially equipped so you can relax in comfort or enjoy a refreshing shower

• Lift to all floors

Dining

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• Meals are served in the dining areas or in the privacy of your room

• Unlike other care homes there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Woodland Manor has large pleasant gardens and a sitting area, ideal for the summer

• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week

• Wheelchair access is available

• Car parking is available

• Pets are welcome by arrangement

• We have a personal laundry facility and laundry service

• A pay telephone is available

• Regular visits to local church services can be arranged

Health and personal care

• Our GP visits on request

• There are many local surgeries where visits can be made on request

• District Nurse, Dentist, Optician, Chiropodist and Physiotherapist visit by arrangement

• Our Hairdresser visits twice a week

• Holistic and Beauty Therapists are available on request
