About Us

Anchor Trust is the largest not-for-profit provider of housing, support and care in England.

Our purpose is to improve the lives of older people. We do this by providing a range of services valued by older people.

Anchor Trust is made up of a number of businesses providing these services, including Anchor Homes, the largest not-for-profit provider of residential and nursing care in the sector.

We were formed in 1968, when Anchor started life as Help the Aged (Oxford) Housing Association. Today, we employ 10,000 people and each week we provide housing and/or support to 50,000 customers.
